This is a 12-week remote internship designed for high school students ages 14 and older who want to grow their leadership skills and gain real experience working with a nonprofit organization.
Students will learn about fundraising, marketing, service leadership, global hunger issues, and community engagement while completing guided projects.

The program runs June 1 through August 23.
Students participate on a flexible schedule and can complete most assignments at times that work best for them.

Students should expect to spend approximately 2 to 4 hours per week.
This includes training videos, project work, occasional group calls, and preparation for their final capstone project.

Yes. The internship is completely virtual.
Students can participate from home or anywhere they have reliable internet access. Most communication takes place through email, shared documents, and scheduled video calls.

Interns will:
• Learn how nonprofits raise funds and run programs
• Help create awareness campaigns and social media content
• Research global hunger and service initiatives
• Participate in leadership development activities
• Plan and complete a final impact projectEach student will finish the internship having contributed to meaningful mission work.

This is an educational service internship and is unpaid.
Students gain valuable experience, leadership training, and documented service involvement that can support college applications, scholarship opportunities, and future employment.

Yes. Students who complete the program will receive:
• A certificate of completion
• Documentation of internship hours
• Experience completing a capstone impact project
• Leadership and service experience -
Yes. Students will receive guidance from nonprofit staff throughout the internship. Clear expectations, training materials, and project direction are provided to help students succeed.
Parents are encouraged to stay involved and support their student’s participation.

Selection is based on interest, commitment, and willingness to participate fully in the program.

Your student may be a great fit if they:
• Are curious about leadership, service, or how nonprofits operate
• Want to build real-world skills they can use in school, college, and future jobs
• Enjoy creative projects like social media, fundraising ideas, writing, or research

• Are willing to commit a few hours each week and follow through on assignments
• Can work independently while staying connected through virtual communication
Students do not need prior experience to apply. Motivation, reliability, and a positive attitude matter most.
This program works especially well for students who are looking for a structured summer opportunity that is flexible, purposeful, and designed to build confidence.
